Review by William Brisby

Look Me Up by Ruth Brown is an album that showcases the artist's timeless vocals and soulful style. The album features a collection of tracks from the 1950s and 1960s that have been remastered to ensure a high-quality listening experience.

Brown's voice is the highlight of the album, and she effortlessly delivers each song with emotion and conviction. Her rendition of "Teardrops from My Eyes" is particularly impressive, as she infuses the track with a raw energy that is both captivating and moving.

In addition to Brown's vocals, the album also features a range of instrumentation that complements her singing perfectly. The horns on "I Don't Know" add an extra layer of depth to the track, while the piano on "Mambo Baby" provides a lively and upbeat accompaniment to Brown's vocals.
