Studs' album Rock You Tonite is a solid rock record that packs a punch from start to finish. The album is filled with catchy guitar riffs, pounding drums, and powerful vocals that will have you headbanging along in no time.
The opening track "Rock You Tonite" sets the tone for the rest of the album, with its driving rhythm and anthemic chorus. From there, the band delivers one hard-hitting track after another, with highlights including "Electric Lady," "Bad Boys," and "Hotter Than Hell."
While the album is definitely rooted in classic rock, Studs manages to infuse each track with their own unique sound and style. They're not afraid to experiment a little, either, as evidenced by the funky, almost disco-inspired "Dancin' With Danger."

Mike talked about meeting David Lee Roth around this time on Jonesy's Jukebox. Dave told him the band name "Studs" in America would make them be like the Village People (there's a reason how and why Halford wore metal studs), so he changed it to... Lion, then White Lion. It's not a bad ditty, but totally aping a few VH and KISS stage moves.
